This week Mars In Libra is moving towards Saturn to make a conjunction. Mars and Saturn together can be a dynamite duo and the energy can be used in many positive ways. This is an energy that can help you to commit to a project and work through obstacles. This week you can choose to work on those hard projects that you have put off for some time as the stars are on your side. Those with strong Mars or Saturn archetypes in their natal chart can become more obsessive and compulsive. With both these planets in Libra, the sign of balance, it is an opportunity to work hard but in a harmonious manner. Libra does not like any extremes; so that surely makes for an interesting transit. Libra is also the sign of relationships and it could also mean that the stress is on working together as a team, whether at work or at home. This will be more evident for those where Saturn and Mars conjuncts, squares or opposes a personal planet (Moon, Sun, Mercury, Mars or Sun). I have a teenage son and recently I’ve been finding ways to work with him (helping him prepare for an entrance exam) and what I noticed is that compliments and rewards work like a charm. Remember the saying “You can catch more bees with honey than vinegar” and this is a good week to use it to get your work done.
Another important aspect that will be exact this week is Venus in Cancer Trine Neptune in Pisces. This is a beautiful soft energy amidst all the hardness of the Uranus Pluto square. For a couple of days (August 9th and 10th), it may be easier to overlook the faults in other people as you view the world through pretty rose colored glasses. Generally, people tend to be romantic and appreciative during this transit. So use the Venus Neptune Trine to chill out for few days. A great way to capture this energy is by being close to nature. “Let Nature be your teacher” – William Wordsworth.
This is a short brake as Venus is moving towards opposing Pluto in Capricorn which can be anything but lighthearted. Venus Pluto aspects can create deep healing or horrific destructiveness, especially in relationship. The same can be said for the transits; they provide the energy for intense transformation even if they last for only few days. This can be something to look forward to if you are looking to make positive stride in any of your close relationships.
In the midpoint astrology, Juno=Uranus/Pluto which means Juno is expressing the combined energies of Uranus and Pluto. Uranus Pluto as we’ve observed now for a while is about sudden violent transformative events that serve to wake us up. Juno can be an intense energy that in a negative way can be about rage, jealousy, envy, anger, greed, racism, hatred, etc. So it’s no surprise that the Sikh Temple shooting in Wisconsin has brought up the topic of race violence in this country.
