The sun goes through each and every zodiac sign in one year and moves roughly 1 degree a day. The influence of the Sun is very brief and only lasts for a day or so, but it is a great way to understand your birth chart as the sun triggers your planets during its yearly movement around the ecliptic. Even better when the planet is triggered by both Sun and the Moon. It makes a good opportunity to learn about the planet that is triggered.
This year my Mars in Aries was caught red handed when it was conjuncted by both the Sun and Moon and opposed by Saturn on the same day. I was able to understand the source of my anger. I realized that my anger is triggered when my actions are thwarted and somehow I view barriers as a threat. It is a very typical childish anger which is kind of similar to the tantrum displayed by a child who doesn’t get what it wants or is stopped from doing something. Aries Mars is a lot about expressing one’s individuality. The anger here stems from the fear that if someone or something can stop you then they have the power to take away your independence and individuality. The more your understand your chart, then the more power you have to choose your actions appropriately.
