Update: I went through a minor surgery (very 8th house energy) and with all the wonderful planets (Venus, Mercury and Jupiter) on my Sun during the time of surgery all went well and I healed quickly. I knew with all the planets in Aries in my 8th house, something has to happen, and it did.

Hi Manda, I have aries in my 5th house – and recently there has been a lot going on with my kids. I am also thinking of learning a new hobby (been wanting to do it for a long time). Do you think this is a good idea. I have many planets in Cancer – wondering how that would pan out?
Makes a lot of sense – 5th house is about children, hobbies, and also romance, enterainment, love, etc.. This is a good time to get out your playful energy. However since you have planets in Cancer that is squaring your Aries 5th house (since square aspects can cause tension), you may have some perceived or real barriers in spending your energy in 5th house activities. Things get easier when you become aware.
Yes, Manda, its weird what I am finding myself go through these days. Some fighting spirit has aroused in me and I am finding myself compelled to take action where needed and move on from that part for the next project.
My focus has lately been on looking at my kid’s grades at school and making sure she gets the right classes for next year which counts for college and so forth – so, I had been in action lately around this. In fact, I was feeling very restless on this issue and very pushy too. The same effect I have on my work too, I just feel the compulsion to finish projects, get them out of the way…..actually,my eyes are already looking at the next projects in the pipeline and the ones in hand (needing completion), I just want to get them out of the way – finalized and finished. Actually, I had never found myself in such spirits, and only a few events lately in the past week happened, which were totally beyond my control and I found myself at a fighting end. But, then again, the projects that I am wanting to finish are the ones which are headed in the right direction. So, this uncontrollable sense of urgency is actually helping me.
